
Teryl Rothery is a Canadian actress of television, stage and film. She is best known for portraying Janet Fraiser in the TV show Stargate SG-1. The actress was also the star of Cedar Cove's Grace Sherman, as well as playing prominent roles like Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring, in Arrow and Celia Hudson, in Nancy Drew. Rothery has been in several television films. Rothery began dancing at the age of nine and in 1995 looked upon it as the beginning of her career as an entertainer. The 13-year-old was years old when she began dancing lessons. At 14 she appeared in the musical Bye Bye Birdie,[3] and at the age of 14 she appeared she appeared in The Sound of Music at Marpole Community Theatre. She danced on The Irish Rovers variety TV series when she was a teenager [2and made her debut on TV at the age of 18 in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation special for Halloween.
